What is HÖP?
HÖP is an international children’s book publisher whose books bring joy to children in Estonia, France, Italy, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and China. HÖP’s selection includes activity books, activity cards and exercise books that encourage fantasy and play.
HÖP combines studying, creating and drawing with play. Here meet mother’s intuition, education theory and beautiful artworks of Estonian illustrators.
Our activity books have been inspired by everyday games and situations, and developed and tested together with kids. For us, it is important that books come to life in their little hands, stimulating their fantasy and finding a natural place in their own activities.

HÖP started from becoming a mom and has been growing along with our own kids. Parenting is wonderful and tough, posing difficult questions, such as:
- How to best support your child’s development so that it would include plenty of age-appropriate challenges?
- How to maintain your child’s innate curiosity, creativity and desire to learn?
- How to guide children to focus, make connections and act on their own?
- How to develop empathy and encourage cooperation?
These are the questions that we at HÖP are dealing with every day.
